The Clockerfly shows the point where our gold-plated titanium butterfly friend is almost released from the confines of the past (whether that's a mindset or addiction, or 9-5) but still dealing with it. Still part of the machinery of the system or trauma or dependency.
What nobody talks about with butterflies, as they wax lyrical about the wonders of metamorphosis, is the absolute horrors the caterpillar faces within the chrysalis. Everything the caterpillar has ever been dissolves, and they recently discovered it's fully conscious of all of it!
But then the butterfly emerges, never sees the beauty of its own wings, and can see the world from a higher vantage point. All butterflies are severe trauma survivors with incredible resilience, and are absolute badasses.
Whether you know you've been through trauma or not, you have. We all went through a collective experience that affected all of us, and it's perfectly understandable if our cages were rattled by it, while we continued building businesses and handling life.
